My studio is in the Pendleton Art Center , an eight story warehouse in Cincinnati's historic "Over the Rhine" . From the top floor, huge windows overlook the urban beehive of inner city life. In the distance, across the Ohio river, the hills of northern Kentucky provide me a peaceful place to rest my eyes.
I am fortunate to have been part of the original museum school at the Art Academy of Cincinnati, influenced deeply by giants of fine art such as Julian Stanczak.
After years of painting highly detailed still life, I've moved on to landscape and perfecting my own individual style. Now my specialty is Cincinnati scenes.
Marriage came late to me after somewhat of a bohemian lifestyle and is a blessing long awaited for. My jazz bassist husband, Lou Lausche, is my greatest supporter. We have two rescued Siamese cats, a Snowshoe and a Lynx Point, who complete our warm abode.
